Foundation can easily help lift our looks and our spirits by simply covering up nasty blemishes that annoy us or covering dark sun spots after those fun Summer vacations with the kids. But, for those of you who just wear foundation to “cover up” what you don’t like about your skin, listen to me when I say, “you’re going about it all wrong”. Refer to your favorite concealer to hide marks or spots you are uncomfortable with.  Then use foundation to highlight your skin and to enhance it’s natural glow.

Foundation does even out skin tone and blends different colorations on your face such as dark circles or redness.  But most importantly foundation helps set the canvas for other make up you like to apply.  Ever wonder why your blush never stays on or why your face is greasy looking by the end of the day and the concealer you have applied has melted off?  Maybe that’s because you haven’t applied your foundation to “set” your beautiful canvas for the day.  Here’s the bottom line.  If you want your make up to last all day and want to have a finished polished look without worrying about a greasy nose or cheeks, try wearing a foundation that works for you.  Below are a few suggestions that just might work!
