We all know water is crucial to survive. That’s obvious, but drinking water also contributes to good health all the way around. Drinking water promotes weight loss and gives you energy.  According to Reader Digest’s Best Health Mag, researchers at Vanderbilt University Medical Center found drinking water raises alertness. Their studies found that water increases the sympathetic nervous system (SNS) activity, which is the system responsible for activating the body’s reaction time and responses under stressful situations and during high blood pressure situations. So, next time you’re looking for a little extra energy, skip the trip to the pantry, skip the 3:00 coffee shop and drink water.
