I Just Can’t Get Enough of Jewel Tones and Fall Colors

Yes, Fall is here and the Michigan sunshine and the clearish skies have me wanting to dress bright, cheery and stylish. I know, I know, it’s ripped denim, ruffled shirt and bootie season and they are all over the internet but one thing I’ve learned about myself is, if I dress for the occasion and dress in what makes me feel good, there’s a whole lot of happy that comes out of me. I’ll be posting pics of those items very soon but lately, the Michigan temps have been a tad warmer than previous years and it’s all about jewel tones and fall colors for me on these beautiful Michigan sunny days.

As a mompreneur and a gal who loves a pretty dress, I am always one for dressing in what makes me feel confident and happy and who doesn’t feel happy in a yellow or gold dress?

If you’re in the mood to stand out and look your best, a jewel tone will always work. If I’m not wearing black, typically I’m wearing a jewel tone. Especially when I have a speaking engagement or a special occasion. Why? A good jewel tone makes my features stand out and they always give me a level of confidence I need to conquer my day.

Not sure what color works for you?  Here’s some jewel tone wardrobe advice……If you’re a brown or blue eyed girl with blonde hair, amethyst, sapphire and gold definitely work. If you’re gal with darker features, ruby will turn everyone’s heads. Are you a red head?  Emerald, emerald, emerald will always work with your beautiful features. I promise!

Do you have a favorite jewel tone? What is your “go-to” color when you need a boost of confidence?
